Add live load reduction factor as design parameter

There is currently no efficient way to consider the live load reduction factor in STAAD.Pro. It would be fantastic to add a parameter to the design section (e.g., under CSA S16-19 or AISC 360-16) to consider a live load reduction on an element by ...

Provide wind generation on Fireproof Members

STAAD does not consider the additional width of the fireproofed members; producing underestimated wind generated loads for open structures like piperacks. Please include this feature as this would make several of my colleagues happy.

Multiple design parameters results in post processing window for Indian code IS 800-2007 is requested.

This will reduce the tedious process of turning on and off each design parameter from editor file and then running the full input file again multiple times. If this can be implemented for AISC-360 then it shall be implemented for other codes also.

Insert node in members having built-up I-Section property.

Hi, When inserting a node into a beam having a tapered I-section property, the software automatically generates the properties for the new section and places it at the end of the property section. This poses significant challenges during the optim...
