Request to Add “Reset to Default” Option for Plate Stress Contour Color Settings in STAAD

Dear STAAD Development Team,

I would like to suggest an enhancement in STAAD for the Plate Stress Contour color settings available under Diagrams → Plate Stress Contour.

Currently, users can manually modify the color sequence/order used for stress contour divisions. However, once the default color arrangement is changed, there is no simple option available to restore the original/default color scheme. Resetting each contour color manually is very time-consuming and it is almost impossible to recreate the exact original color order.

It would be very helpful if a “Reset to Default” button could be added in the Plate Stress Contour settings window. This option should restore:

  • Default contour color sequence

  • Default number of contour divisions

  • Default minimum/maximum color arrangement

This feature will improve usability and help users quickly recover the standard STAAD visualization settings whenever required.

A screenshot showing the current Plate Stress Contour window is attached for your reference.

Kindly consider this enhancement in future STAAD updates.
