Generate response spectrum compatible time history from a reference earthquake time record.

Some codes like ASCE 4 require running time history analysis based on a design spectrum and a reference earthquake. Note that SAP2000 can do this.

    Thank you for posting this idea. I assume that you aware that if you perform a time history analysis, then you can obtain the plot of displacement, velocity or acceleration for any node on the model simply by clicking in it in the appropriate layout. However, are you aware that if you right click on these graphs, and select Diagrams, you can change the reported data from being in the time domain to the response of the chosen location in the frequency domain. e.g.
