SFA V2025 - Cannot change base plate size

As Bi-Con Engineering discussed SFA V2025 User Experience Feedback with Karimu Rashad on November 12, 2025; and per Case CS0554646. SFA does not have a method to change the base plate size at any time during the design process. The user needs to close the .stph file, close out of the program, open a fresh new instance of SFA 2025 then in the application home page you will be able to get those settings to change base plate dimension by clicking on “Configure” button ... Also, as a temporary workaround to this limitation, an indirect method is to change the dimensions of base plate. Consider opening an instance of SFA 2025 click on “Configure” > “Foundation” > “Pedestal/Base Plate” > type in the values for “Offset for Base Plate from Steel Section” to your requirements > “Update”:
