STAAD.Pro currently uses the GPU for basic rendering, but performance often depends on integrated graphics, which limits responsiveness for large models. Optimizing the software to fully leverage dedicated GPUs would deliver smoother navigation, faster zooming, and real-time view updates. This enhancement would benefit engineers working on complex structures by making design reviews and presentations more fluid and visually clear, without altering the analysis workflow. Allowing users to select and utilize dedicated GPUs for rendering would modernize STAAD’s graphics performance and improve overall user experience.
