Command lines as notes

Hi. Now, when I want to make notes from command lines, I have to put an "asterisk" in front of each line and when I want them to be commands again, I have to delete all the asterisks. Could it be possible to create a possibility that the given command lines, from which I want to make notes, would be put between REM - REM and later, when I want to have commands from them again, just delete these commands "REM", "REM"?:

REM

xxx UNI GY yy

...

zzz UNI GY vv

REM

It would be much faster and more practical.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, this way of creating a comment block can of course be used. I will be happy when the option to create a comment block is available.

Thank you for posting this idea. I think a more concise way to express the idea is to say that the current method of indicating that a line is a comment is by starting with a *. Could this be extended to have a method to include block comments using markers such as #> to indicate the start and <# to indicate the end. This is a worthy candidate and will be added to the backlog
