Replace the Indian Section list based on the IS 808

As stated in case CS0627780, STAAD.Pro is currently using a section list based on the older version of the standard, IS 808:1989. However, this code has been superseded by the updated version, IS 808:2021. There are significant differences in sectional properties between the version available in STAAD and those specified in the current IS code. Therefore, it is requested that the section list be updated and replaced in accordance with the latest IS 808:2021 standard.

Correct, That allows you to create databases for projects and because the name of the database is included in the file, you can be clear exactly which one was used on which project. It can be a powerful management tool if used wisely.

Thank you for posting this idea. We will be looking to provide an updated version of this database to more recent versions of the publications used to provide the data in the tables. In the meantime, I am sure you are aware that one of the advantages of providing the data in the databases, means you can edit the data with the Database Manager, or any SQLite database editor and use values that you would prefer the application use.
