Provide STAAD Foundation Advanced a method to manage the link to a STAAD.Pro model

When a STAAD Foundation model is created from a STAAD.Pro model, that is added to the STAAD.Pro folder. This process creates pointers in both data sets that link the two models together and allow for notification when changes takes place. However, if the STAAD.Pro model along with all its data is then taken and relocated (which might or might not include the STAAD Foundation model) then the pointer in the STAAD Foundation model is broken and there is no easy way to re-establish the link

The idea is to provide an easy way for the status of the link in the STAAD Foundation Advanced model to be determined and if required, to be reset to point to the STAAD.Pro model in a new location.

    Thank you for posting this idea. The solution is simple and available now. When you create a Foundation model from STAAD.Pro, it creates a text file called (STAAD model name).splnk in the same folder as the foundation file. This tells STAAD.Pro where find the foundation file. If you choose to move the foundation data to some other location, then you need to update the data in this file, e.g.

    say move the foundation model sample from C:\start folder\ to C:\end folder\move here

    {"StphFileWithFullPath":"C:\\start folder\\sample foundation.stph","IsSynced":true,"OSTDMajorVersion":25,"OSTDMinorVersion":0,"OSTDPartNumber":277,"OSTDBuildNumber":1}

    this becomes

    {"StphFileWithFullPath":"C:\\end folder\\move here\\sample foundation.stph","IsSynced":true,"OSTDMajorVersion":25,"OSTDMinorVersion":0,"OSTDPartNumber":277,"OSTDBuildNumber":1}

    The report includes repeated information but missed information needed. The report needs to be formatting by an experienced C/S engineer. The sketches for reinforcing rebars need to be improved.
