Shrink Beam

Can we have the option to enter a -ve value so that the functionality of 'stretch' can also be extended to 'shrink' - which helps especially while working on beams not aligned in the x,y,z axes. (currently, inserting a node and trimming it away only seems the option)

    Thank you for posting this idea. If the intent is to catch members that cross, then that functionality already exists, as INTERSET. Highlight the members and provide a tolerance. Any unwanted excess parts should then be deleted.
