Generate equivalent lateral seismic force in Y direction using NBCC 2010/2015

I highly recommend to include calculation of vertical seismic load using NBCC 2010/2015 . I see it as a big gap in Staad Pro not to include calculation of vertical seismic loading using NBCC 2010/2015

    Thank you for posting this idea. However I am not 100% clear of your request. Currently STAAD does provide a method for defining response spectra in any global direction, X, Y or Z. However, STAAD does not determine the spectrum curves in any direction, that is down to user input. Do you mean that you would like STAAD.Pro to determine the curve in any direction based for the Canadian NBCC codes on criteria similar to that provided for other codes? Also I appreciate that the curent version of the NBCC is 2020, do you not use that publication?
