OpenSTAAD function to control meshing of a parametric surface

At present we can define, generate mesh and commit the mesh using the parametric surface functions exposed by OpenSTAAD.

However, many times passing the meshing parameters programmatically such as Meshing Type, Boundary Connectivity is important to have finer control on how the meshing is generated.

So is it possible to expose a new function or to

Thank you for posting this idea. The current function offered, DefineParametericSurface() only provides some of the conditions that are defined in the Add Parametrc Model dialog when a new parametric model is added. This idea is to add a new function DefineParametricSurfaceEx() which adds the additional capabilities of the three Boundary Connectivity options including number of segments when the third option Define is specified, Target Element Size and boolean to create density points from internal nodes/beams. This will be added to the backlog
