Assigning DJ1 / DJ2 to a model to define start/end of members must improve

To be forced to go assign both a node # and every member between 2 nodes for a few beams is not a big deal but when it's a giant model, it takes days to assign these values for deflection checks.

Something must be done to make this more user friendly and easier to define a member's full length in lieu of 100s of DJ1/DJ2 lines of code for models not using Physical members

    Thank you for posting this idea. I do appreciate how challenging this is with large more complex models. As you say the solution is greatly simplified when dealing with physical models as this provides the necessary relationship needed to know which segments associate together which is needed in determining the assignment. The question I would put to you is how would you determine the necessary relationship which could then be programmed?
