For the eurocode to calculate automatically the factors C1,C2,C3 to calculate correctely the Mcr value for elements. Which depends on the bending moment diagram, loading type and support conditions.

    Thank you for logging this idea. The values of C1, C2 and C3 are for use with the Dutch NA. This gives values for a range of sample loading situations, but left to the engineer to determine values to use when the member is under some other loading situation. The flexibility of a STAAD model is such that the member could have any manner of loading applied point loads, patch and distributed loads etc and as such what values should be provided? Unless a reasonable logic can be suggested this should remain the responsibility of the engineer.
