Inclusion of SS EN 1998-1 Seismic Action & Accidental Torsion

Application of seismic action (including accidental torsion) for structure in Singapore using EN 1998-1 is cumbersome. Request to include this code in future development.

    Hi,
Thank you for responding. I am attaching herewith a portion of Singapore NA that shows the difference between EU recommendation and Singapore decision. Also, There is no provision to add accidental torsion in the design. ASCE code has this option in STAAD.

Thank you for posting this suggestion. The program currently supports creating seismic loading to EN1998, but are you saying that there are specific requirements in the Singapore NA that also needs to be accounted for. Please can you expand on what additional effects these are which need to be included in the STAAD solution.
