This addresses my issue. Thank you!
please refer to the manual section TR.14 Plate Mesh Generation which links to the two methods available in the Analytical Workflow. To understand the methods used in the Physical Model workflow, then refer to the STAAD.Pro Physical Modeller help, however, this video should provide a little more insight, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3zDyb9eRh0&list=PL5LpElzkNC9kJ3HsmXehiUDDquxjevBQC&index=2
Could you please link to a description that explains the process? I was only aware of clicking the 4 corners of a rectangle, defining the divisions, and repeating for every surface.
Thank you for posting this idea. However, I think you might have missed that this is already provided. If you define the extent of the surface as a parametric model in the Analytical Model workflow or better still create the model in the Physical Model workflow, then this is done for you.
This will help a lot to design engineer. Kindly introduce this Auto-Meshing for plates.
