implement front to front angle configuration in STAAD

In India many Columns are made with 4 leg of angle with lacing of rod or angle(built-up) STAAD have option of design back to back but it is not have front to front angle configuration

    Why it is not implement as you have double angle back to back make angle connect front to front so it saves a lot of time of user to make from the section wizard

    Thank you for posting this idea. You are right that STAAD includes back to back angles as a single entity, this is because they are defined in some publications as standard profiles. However a column made from a number of structural objects in various configurations are not published in the same way, so handling them as a single entity like this would not be appropriate. However saying that, There is certainly scope for investigating a solution in which a fabricated column could be defined using a macro or by creating a template for structure wizard in the physical modeller. The components of the column however should still be designed individually as the codes require.
