Hide Selected Object

it is a very useful option when you are trying to hide some selected entity for better view. HIDE SELECTED OBJECT rather than using invert Selection and other ways.

    Thank you for posting this idea. As you mention there is a relatively simple way of achieving this. As I am sure you appreciate, there is a danger of adding too many similar ways of doing some functions that it results in the users getting confused and not finding the import tasks. I would say that if you would like to have a button to do this quickly, then create a small OpenSTAAD macro and use the functions View.SelectInvese() and View.CreateNewViewForSelectionsEx() details of these functions are provided in the OpenSTAAD help.
