This is a good move if given the chance and its very timely that we migrate from UBC 97 to adopt and add ASCE 7-10 in our NSCP 2022 Its about time that we should level up compared to other countries with Xstructures helping the different committees of NSCP 2022 prior to its release

The National Structural Code of the Philippines (NSCP) 2022 design provisions in STAAD Pro for Seismic design in the Philippines are critical due to its location in a seismically active region. The country is part of the Pacific Ring of Fire, where several tectonic plates meet, resulting in frequent seismic activity. This customization would somehow improve material properties and update specifications base on the current scenario in the design stage.

Yes, i appreciate this idea so that it will be more appropriate to use it as it will be incorporated already in STAAD.Pro defining that the code being used is NSCP 2022

Many thanks for posting this idea. To be clear, the idea being posted is that the Static Seismic and Response Spectrum loading routines are enhanced with the method provided in the Philippines NSCP 2022 publication.
