include MERGE NODE, CONNECT BEAMS & COLLINEAR BEAMS under Node Tools

it might also be helpful, if we can add the MERGE NODE tool in the "popup" Node tools when many nodes are selected (just like MERGE BEAM tool is included in the "popup" Beam tools) and the CONNECT BEAMS and COLLINEAR BEAMS tool also (to generate beams parallel to X, Y, Z or in-between the selected nodes)

    Thank you for posting your idea. The current context ribbons provided when nodes, beams, plates or solids are selected, displays some functions available to act on those objects. The proposal is to extend these to provide the full range of options available and also to rationalise the popup menu that is displayed removing some options which are not relevant when objects have been selected. This is a reasonable idea and will be added to the backlog.
