Spring Legend for X, Y and Z for Tension/ Compression Only

Dear Sir,

Under the support head spring tension/compression only, all the support acts in the global directions. But, when the spring system is assigned, for the X & Z it is different from the Y direction.

Please correct the notation or the display of the spring support in X & Z.

With Regards.

Thank you for posting an idea. However, I am not clear as to what you are suggesting? Is it relating to the current messaging in the dialog thus:-

When a tension or compression support is to be defined, you should check the direction which the spring support is intended to be operational. If you do not specify a direction, then it assumes springs in all directions are one way. However in this case it is clear that you should have springs defined in all axes. If you mean something else, please can you clarify.
